These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made through the MedsHut website and supplement our general Terms of Service. By placing an order, you agree to these specific sale conditions.

2. Product Categories

Prescription Medicines (POM)

• Require a valid prescription from a UK-registered prescriber
• Subject to clinical review by our pharmacists
• Cannot be returned once dispensed
• NHS prescription charges apply as applicable

Pharmacy Medicines (P)

• Available under pharmacist supervision
• May require completion of a health questionnaire
• Pharmacist consultation may be required
• Quantity restrictions may apply

General Sale List (GSL)

• Available for purchase without pharmacist supervision
• Standard consumer rights apply
• Age restrictions may apply to certain products

3. Ordering Process

Order Placement

• Orders are placed through our secure online platform
• You must provide accurate delivery and contact information
• Order confirmation will be sent via email
• Orders are not guaranteed until payment is processed

Order Acceptance

• We reserve the right to accept or decline any order
• Clinical approval required for all prescription medicines
• Stock availability may affect order fulfillment
• Age verification required for age-restricted products

4. Pricing and Fees

Product Pricing

• All prices displayed include VAT where applicable
• NHS prescription charges are set by the Department of Health
• Private prescription fees are clearly displayed
• Prices may change without notice but confirmed orders honor agreed prices

Delivery Charges

• Standard delivery: Free for orders over £15, otherwise £2.99
• Next-day delivery: £4.99 (order by 2pm Monday-Friday)
• Saturday delivery: £6.99 (order by 2pm Friday)
• Special delivery options available for urgent orders

5. Payment Terms

• Payment required in full before order dispatch
• We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal
• All transactions are processed securely
• Failed payments may result in order cancellation
• Refunds processed to original payment method within 5-10 business days

• Scottish Highlands and Islands may have extended delivery times

Delivery Process

8. Consumer Rights

Cancellation Rights

• You may cancel orders before dispatch for a full refund
• Prescription medicines cannot be cancelled once clinically approved
• 14-day cooling-off period applies to non-prescription items
• Personalized or custom items are excluded from cancellation rights

Faulty or Incorrect Items

• Report issues within 24 hours of delivery
• We will arrange collection and replacement at no cost
• Refunds available if replacement not possible
• Photos may be requested for damage claims

9. Quality Assurance

All products are sourced from licensed suppliers and stored according to manufacturer specifications. We maintain full traceability and cold chain management for temperature-sensitive medications.

10. Age Restrictions

• Customers must be 18+ to purchase prescription medicines

11. Quantity Restrictions

To ensure patient safety and prevent misuse, we apply quantity restrictions to certain medications. Multiple orders for the same product may be combined or refused at our discretion.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or supplier shortages.
